Hi,
I am trying to install a Shelly 1L behind a 2 gang switch. One of the outputs has smart lights, so I was planning to keep it permanently live and connect Shelly's relay to the other light, while using one of the switches as a detached switch. It seems like all lamps share the same permanent live.
The second lamp is a LED with a Mean Well constant current LED driver. I have installed a Bypass parallel to it.
The Shelly 1L I have connected with Permanent Live to L, and the output going to the second lamp to O. For testing, I have not installed the switch yet.
However, the Shelly 1L does not turn on at all. The light stays off.
I can confirm that the Shelly 1L is working, it works on other switches.
Does anyone have an idea of why this could be happening or how to debug this? Is this related to the 2 gang setup sharing the same permanent live?
One thing I don't fully understand is that the ceiling light has two neutral wires (and one live wire) that seem to be connected to it.
I have tried to create a drawing of the wiring:
