I have a RGBW strip controlled by a ShellyRGBW2 with a on/off switch working perfectly. The button is a high voltage button taking 240V and then passing it to the black "transformer" delivered with the Shelly. What exactly is that thing?
Now I'd like to add three 240V LED lightbulbs controlled with a Shelly 2.5. It does not need to be a Shelly 2.5. I only thought of using it because I have many others already for controlling shutters so having only one kind of replacement is easiest. The 240V LED Lightbulbs were chosen because I have many others and do not want to use 12V just for those 3.
To turn the lightbulbs on/off I thought I could share the button between both controllers. Alas it did not work.
Connecting the button only to the RGBW2 works, connecting it only to the Shelly2.5 works. Connecting both at the same time does not.
Is there an easy fix for this? Can I fix this by using something like an Eltaco?
Any ideas appreciated.
I will add a picture if my text is unclear.
