I have an existing light switch + light bulb illuminating a garden. I would like the shelly i3 to sense the light switch so that:
1. When the light switch closes, other shelly-1-controlled lights in the garden turn on.
2. When the light switch opens, the shelly-1-controlled lights turn on.
For that I used the schema below:
I would like to keep actuating the lightbulb directly through the switch, so that the light still works even if there are problems with wifi and what not.
However, the problem is that some current from the neutral wire seems to be leaking into the i1 input when the switch is open and thus, the Shelly i3 always reports the i1 input as active.
Any ideas on what I could do?
I guess I could disconnect the lightbulb from the i3 and govern it with yet another shelly 1, but that would leave the garden totally dark if there are any wifi problems which I would like to avoid.
