hello,
i'm newb here, i installed some shelly 2.5 in my home and some shelly duo bulbs, all working very well, and i wanted to graduate to something more complex
my in laws have gifted us a designer ceiling lamp and i would like to understand if it could be connected and dimmed through shelly/ home assistant integration
this is the link of the lamp, with the information below given on the site about the led.
Art. | W | V | LUMEN | °K LED | A cm | B cm | C cm | LED |
Hula Hoop P2 | 42 | 220 | 7295 | 2700/3000 | 40 | Ø66 | 44 | 700 mA CRI90 |
the lamp comes installed with this power supply (with integrated dimmer?) and i cannot understand if i can dim it at all using a shelly dimmer.
my first hypothesis is that i should get the power supply out of the equation, and should connect directly the AC wires to the shelly and the shelly to the led, however i'm not sure i understood it correctly.
i find the last page of the spec sheet confusing (attached) as it says to keep the power supply and give it commands with a dimmer, can a shelly do it?
could someone help me understand how to make it work?
thanks a lot,
Nicola
