Switch input 4PM

    Hi,

    I'm new here,

    I just received today my 2 4PM's and would connect my niko switches on it..

    But they are potential-free 24V push button N.O. (6fold or 4 fold)

    NIKO 170-60050 (https://www.niko.eu/en/article/170-60050)

    Is there any solution, how i can use them?

    *? can i use an phoenix contact? between the switch and the Shelly?

    I tought i just could replace my old Eltako esr12z-4dx-uc Teleruptors with a Shelly Pro 4PM.

    Welcome to the Shelly Forum!

    And yes - you may use the Phoenix relays to bridge the voltage gap! But you’ll need a 24V DC power supply…

    Another way to solve the issue would be to use two Shelly i3 to control the Shelly pro 4PM via DDD (“over the air”). This could be cheaper than buying 6 Phoenix relays. A 24V DC power supply to feed the Shelly i3 would be still needed (Caution: plus must be connected to blue wire of i3; minus to red wire; switch common to minus/red wire). You may find information about DDD in ‘lexicon’.

    Don’t see any benefits deriving by usage of a Shelly pro 2PM! Except you need two Shelly pro 2PM for each Shelly pro 4PM. Sure - with Shelly pro 2PM circuit may be split on two mains phases. But this was not asked for…
