Shelly Wifi problems? AVM-MESH

    Hi there,

    first of all, thanks for the great Shelly products! :)

    I have 8 x Shelly 2.5 in place to automate rollershutter via Opnehab3, using the Astro Binding and the Shelly Binding.

    The Problem: Shelly's are not visible (disconnected) in the Shelly App. It takes some time after some refreshs, that they occur properly in the app and that they can be controlled. If I connect from a browser directly to the fixed IP of each, the control works instantly! Unfortunately the shelly-binding in Openhab3 is losing the connection and crashes after some time...

    Surroundings: Shelly Cloud is activated, latest firmware is installed, they all have a fixed IP via Shelly config and are prioritised in the AVM network setup. Wifi connection is via AVM Fritzbox 7590 and two Repeater 2400 and 1750E with MESH activated.

    I believe that there is some correlation between the MESH network and the shlly protocol. Maybe some timeout between Router and Repeater, losing the connection?!

    Ich habe über 50 Shelly in meinem AVM-Mesh mit 5x2400er und 4x310er und alle laufen stabil... es liegt also bei dir nicht an der Shelly Software.

    Hast du überall guten Empfang ? Denke du hast ehr zu wenig Repeater ;)

    I have over 50 Shelly in my AVM mesh with 5x2400s and 4x310s and they all run stable.... so it's not the Shelly software that's the problem.

    Do you have good reception everywhere ? I think you have too few repeaters ;)

    Wildkaban : Danke dir, das ist schon mal gut zu hören! Empfang ist bei anderen Geräten auch kein Problem, der eine Repeater ist nicht ganz im optimalen Bereich... Dann probiere ich da noch mal etwas rum! Hast du da vielleicht Einstellungen angepasst in deiner App?

    Z.B. Wifi roaming?

    Router und Repeater immer weiter oben platzieren um eine bessere Abstrahlung zu erreichen. Also eine Steckdose am Boden ist eher suboptimal.

    In der App ist nix angepasst bei mir ..
    Bedenke das deine Shellys in der Wand sitzen und daher stark abgeschirmt sind ...
    Ungünstige Verdrahtung und evtl feuchtigkeit im Putz verschlimmern den Empfang zusätzlich
