Hi everyone,
I just started using the shelly uni, first project is to control a garage door or to be precise the
"Garage door operator Novomatic 563 S".
I have connected shelly uni and controlling the motor is working.
But I am struggling how to check if external lamp output is switched on/off. (I have no lamp attached).
The Novomatic manual has not much information besides how to attaching Novomatic addon equipment .
There is a list of PINS to connect to, they are Labeled I, H, G , F, E.
the Novomatic provides switching 24V for an external lamp but does so by switching a second PIN to Ground. First PIN is 24V. (see picture diagram 13f)
From shelly manual looks like I could use so called GND Sensor to find out if external lamp is switched on.
But a resistor is needed. How does that work ? What kind/size of resistor must be used.

My setup:
Shelly is powered by connecting Wire1 to Novomatic PIN 1 of I (24V) and Wire 2 to F2 ( I assume this is Gnd).
shelly uni output 1 is connected to the PINS 1 and 2 of F ,
switching output for short time on triggers: garage door moving up , stop , moving down ( motor stops automatic when door is down or fully up)
shell uni output 2 is connected to PINS 1 and 2 of G , shelly output is set to always on. switching this to off halts the motor and stops it from starting.
