Integrate with existing control box

    I have an existing control box for my garage door and I'm trying to work out if the Shelly 2.5 is suitable to control it.

    The box has inputs for up and down control switches which I think I can connect the Shell 2.5 to, they both need a control wire and common wire to operate.

    My main question is can the output of the Shell 2.5 be configured to operate in a "momentary press" or a "hold to run" setting or is it fixed to one or the other operation. The manual talks about the different input switch modes to the Shelly but doesn't seem to offer any things for how the output works.

    You may configure the activation time of a relay in the Shelly 2.5 by setting “auto off” to the appropriate seconds. Hence, the input of the door’s control box will be activated for the required time only.

    But take in account (and care): Shelly 2.5 MUST be powered with 24V DC in this application because door control boxes are almost working with low voltages at the inputs!
