I have a number of smart switches in my home and recently discovered Shelly products. I bought a few Shelly 1 and 1L devices to try out, in particular for a number of three way switches that do not have a neutral at either switch. I've installed a 1L at a location with no neutral and used a 1 to control my garage door opener.
I have a series of recessed lights in my basement in which the power source, including a neutral, goes into one light first. Then the other lights as well as the two switches are wired off of that first light. The wiring is very similar to the diagram here https://www.buildmyowncabin.com/electrical/wir…ams-3way-6.html.
Can I use a Shelly 1 installed at the fixture here, and could anyone explain what should connect where?
