Hey everyone, I'm new to the scene. Bought myself a couple of shelly stuff last year on black Friday and only recently finished one of my larger projects. I'm using a Shelly Uni to detect a button press on 2 simple buttons and then trigger certain automations in Node Red through Home assistant.
I've bought a used floatation tank and rebuild the entire thing. (Look into John Lilly's academic work on sensory deprivation tanks if you're curious about the project). Basically there are 3 buttons on the inside of the tank (2 of which are part of the same 2-way switch). I've put 12V from a simple DC powersupply on the switches and I let the Shelly Uni detect if there is voltage on the channels. There's 2 channels, so it seems to all fit nicely together. The UNI is powered by the same DC powersupply.
Now here's the problem, I notice that the lights connected to the button automation are turned on unexpectedly. I looked at the node red config and I notice that apparently both channels a giving a signal at exactly the same time. It's like the UNI just signals something to node red for both channels for now apparent reason.
Channel one switches on, Channel two switches off. Once they do this, they keep being in this state. When I turn of the lights of channel one, an hour later, they are turned on again. Really weird, right?
I'm thinking either it's something with the Uni, or the wifi, maybe the powersupply. Does anyone have any idea on what the cause could be? Capture.PNG
