Shelly Uni and pressure button to open electric lock

    I want to install a shelly uni to open my front gate that uses a 12v electric lock. Since the shelly uni only passes 0.1 amps I need to use a relay.

    My question is that I also want to use a normal pressure button to open the lock. How should I install them together, I thought something like this diagram. Is this correct?

    Well, it depends a bit on where you are planing to install the Uni, plus relay and where the Transformer is located at.

    If you want to do it as shown above, the Normally open contact of your Push button would have to be connected to 12V of the Trafo outlet. Normally closed would then have to be linked to one of the Uni outputs (via Normally open of the relay). Common of the Push button would then have to be wired to one of opener terminals.

    Another possibility would be to wire the 12v to COM of Push button, NO of Pushbutton would then be wired to one of the Uni-Inputs. This way either via App or Input of the Push-button the coosen Output could be triggerd, which then would energize the relay coil, which then would close the normally open contact of the relay (COM: 12 / NO: coil of opener.
