To all users:
The error message mentioned in the subject can occur when connecting to the cloud if the device (1st generation) still has a 6-digit ID.
If you know the background, it becomes clear that this is not a real error or bug!
Due to the great success of Shelly products, the original 6-digit IDs were quickly assigned and used up. Allterco has therefore expanded the ID to 12 digits.
However, this means that the new last 6 digits may overlap with a 6-digit ID, i.e. they are the same! -> error message
The problem is easy to fix and is described in this lexicon entry:

Please note:
- Please be sure to follow the instructions before creating new threads
- Please do not send any more emails or PMs to admin with the request to delete the devices from the cloud if it is a 6-digit ID
- No more 6-digit ID's are deleted from the cloud, please save you and us / admin unnecessary work
