Shelly Motion not saving IO Actions despite saying it did

Setting up my shelly motion took a while, it felt like luck whenever a setting was actually saved correctly after the change.

Now i want to remove one of the devices the shelly motion is supposed to activate when a motion is detected - but it does not save the change.

What i do:

1. Start Shelly App and navigate to the motion sensor

2. Open IO Actions for the motion sensor and wait until they get loaded

3. Remove the unwanted device by tapping on the trash bin button

4. The device is removed from the list successfully

5. i tap on the save changes button

6. After a few seconds the app shows a green "changes saved successfully" popup

But when i now close the IO Actions and reopen them, the deleted device is still listed there and is still triggered when the sensor sees motion.

What am i doing wrong? This is the only shelly device that is behaving this oddly.

I tried this as well, which unfortunately did not work either.

I read that there are issues with the current firmware and tried to downgrade to 1.1.0 but the downgrade did not work too -.-

I used the url generated by https://smarthome-forum.eu/index.php?shelly-firmware-archive/ but the shelly did not load the old firmware.

Anyway, i found a workaround of some sort.

I deactivated cloud on the motion sensor, and every time i want to change a setting, i click on save, like 10 times.

This seems to do the trick. The setting was now saved successfully. I hope i won't have to change it any time soon

Hope there will be a firmware update soon to fix this very annoying bug.
