I replaced 9 halogen bulbs with Philips G4 2.1W LED bulbs (link), which say they are dimmable.
I bought a Shelly RGBW2 with the intention to use it to dim these bulbs.
While the bulbs say they use AC, the site I linked above says it can also take DC.
I tested the setup with one bulb on my desk, with a DC lab power supply.
I noticed that it was indeed dimmable, but only for a limited range.
It started going dim when I dimmed the Shelly all the way to 40% and the bulb went off at 11%, so there is only about 30% dimming range.
The bulb also didn't dim very much, even at 11%, before it went off.
Is there a way to increase the dimming range?
The Shelly works with PWM dimming, should I find another way to dim these leds?
