I just bought a dimmer2 and installed one on a 60W power supply with a short LED strip. I'm quite happy with it, so I bought a 4 pack to use on some other LED strips. I saw they had a max of 200W but I have one LED driver that is 300W, so I figured I would just limit the dimming to 66% through Home Assistant. After installing it on that circuit and running the calibration, when I raise the dimming above 20%, I get a overcurrent error message and the Shelly shuts off. It displays something around 50w when that happens, not the 200w I was expecting. I'm in the US, so running on 110v.
Is there something else I should be doing on this circuit? I can limit the dimming to 20% in Home Assistant because on this circuit, quite frankly that's enough, but I'm confused why I'm getting an overcurrent message at only 20%.
If there's a future product that will support 300w+ of dimming, I would be quite interested in that as well. Thanks!
