Breaker vibrating

  • Hi all,

I have installed a Shelly 1L behind a wall switch that turns on and off an outdoor light. The bypass has been installed over the outdoor light itself.

I (believe) to have installed it correctly using the added schematic. There is no neutral, so only the wire from the lamp connected to the "O" and the live wire connected to the "L".

When I turn on the breaker (fuse?) in the breakerboard, it starts to vibrate rapidly.

Any ideas why and how to resolve it?

  • Operating a Shelly 1L with bypass generates current spikes which may be heard in circuit breakers (blue graph):

I’m not aware of any remedies - but if the breaker doesn’t trip it should be noticed as an artefact…
