How do I wire RC Snubbers into shelly 2.5 without output loads. The device acts as a button imput only. My switchs are push buttons that function best in "toggle" switch type settings but the button has a stand-by feature that puts button to sleep and using "toggle" causes switch to be triggered on/off when the shelly 2.5 detects voltage change. Any help or insight on this would be appreciated

This sounds very interesting but enigmatic! What is the type of the button switches? Could you take a picture of them? Did you connect the buttons to terminals SW(x) and L of Shelly 2.5?

yes the buttons are connected to the SW & L of shelly 2.5. The push button is 12v dc. The 2.5 is powered via the 3.3v n ground gpio inputs so as to limit potential of the relay sending a surge large enough to fuse the switch. From what I can tell the switch/button is a latching switch.

If I understand you correctly, you’re powering the Shelly 2.5 with 3,3V DC via the GPIO port. Thus, Shelly 2.5’ 12V circuitry isn’t powered at all. Any prediction what happens with Shelly‘s SW inputs will fail - it would be better to have a test in reality on the work bench…
But you could do a test, too: According to this thread
November 2021 um 19:48 Shelly 2.5 can be powered with 12V DC. Would you do the modification and test it with your electronic switch?
BTW: Could you reveal the brand and type of the switch? Perhaps I could find a manual or more details…
