Hi all
Sorry, I'm new to Shelly world and a newbie also about electricity., so please bear with me.
I live in Brazil and I don't know how standard our type of installation is around the world.
My house is connected to the electrical company in a bi-phase way. I receive two cables with 110v coming to my main circuit break at the power box. It allows me to have both 220v circuits/breaks or 110v. For 220v I just need to bring 2 live phases/cables to the outlet and for 110v one live and one neutral.
My understating is that I have to connect 2 clamps one in each cable coming into the power box and connect the shelly em to either 110v circuit or a 220v. My goal is to collect all power consumption at the house.
Did I understand it correctly ?
Do I have to connect Shelly EM to a 220v circuit, otherwise it won't be able to get 220v data ? If I need to connect it to 220v circuit, should I connect one live at the live entrance and the second live at the neutral entrance of the Shelly EM ?
Thanks for the patience.
I asked it here because I couldn't find a way to look for it.
