Can the Shelly Gas be connected to a NC/NO electrovalve (the ones with instant shut off) instead of the Shelly Gas Add-on?
Thanks.

ZitatHello support team,
Can the Shelly Gas be connected to a solenoid electrovalve (the ones with instant shut off) instead of the Shelly Gas Add-on?
I've attached a picture of the valve and its specifications.
Thank you in advance.

ZitatThank you for contacting us!
In theory, it might work, but we didn't test it out.
The Shelly Gas is officially compatible with the Shelly Gas Add-on only.

ZitatThanks a lot for the info. Is Shelly Gas sending a pulse current (an impulse) when shutting off the valve, or it is sending a continuous current to the valve until it receives feedback that it was closed?
Shelly Support
ZitatIt's a continuous current that is going through. On change and must close, it sends a current impulse that would trigger the valve to close. Remember, Shelly Gas doesn't have relay to do open/close a circuit. We are supporting only the functionality that the device is offering with its add-on manipulator. We cannot guarantee if a solenoid valve would be working well. Thank you for your time!
So, in theory it might work. I didn't test it because I had already purchased another Tuya sensor (PNI Smart Gas 300 PNI-SHS300) which was designed to work with that type of solenoid valve.
