non stop TRV

    I bought a TRV for testing.

    So I included it on my WiFi network successfully, but after that I did not find any device on the Shelly cloud App.

    Time to reset the TRV and go back again to AP mode.

    The CL lighted up but after a few seconds, to my surprise, the screen turned off but the calibration process kept on going...

    And now I have a TRV that is permanently vibrating, does not answer to anything (reset or up and down buttons) - small video: VID_20220326_143905 (vimeo.com)

    I tried everything... what can I do to stop this evil device?

  • So after about 20H of continuous calibration, the battery died.

    I'm charging it and it seems back to normal (I'm seeing the b_ status displayed)

    hope it was a one-off event, as it is extremely unpleasant

  • I hear you. I tried installing two of these today and they, incredibly, even worse than the Z-wave rubbish they were meant to replace. The app is dreadful on both my Android Samsung S20 and Samsung Tab S4. I get different errors from each app, one gets stuck pending connection, the other says the device is offline. I've spent 4 hours trying to include a TRV. The app hangs, and is horribly designed. I just want to get the TRV on the wifi network so I can use some proper software to control it.
