External url

Is it possible to make an "external" url for a Shelly Dimmer 2 that I can integrate into a web page.

I just wish to put a switch on my page (next to camera streaming) to turn the lights on and off.

Shelly cloud is installed and working well.

possible yes.

But I would recommended an own account for this device.

Because you have to integrate your Auth_key and if somebody get this from your page, can this person get informations and control over your account/ devices.

I only use the web page on my local PC, so there is no danger there.

This is an example from an app, you have to do this with an script , than the "button" activate the script.

Hi,

What do you mean by "external" url ?

If you control your device with a local PC as you say in the second post, you just need to use the device url, for example :

http://192.168.1.10/light/0?turn=on&brightness=100
