H&T Plus - Working temperature range

    I really appreciate this new device as I was not really glad with the old one..

    But I do have a question regarding the environment of the new device.

    From the description I can see two parameters:

    Temperature measurement range-45 °C to 135 °C / -49 °F to 275 °F
    Operational temperature0 °C to 40 °C / 32 °F to 105 °F

    I wonder if these devices can cover the complete measurement range?

    Also, with the current weather-/climate-situation 40°C seems a little bit low....

    And can they be used outside in a rain-protected area/case ?

    Operational temperature +/-20 degree celsius from those values should still be fine, my old H&T is working well inside a fridge (-18°C).

    Outdoor usage should be fine as long as the device is protected against water.
