Shelly pro 4pm not turning off

  • My Shelly pro 4pm has developed a problem, one of the channels will not turn off!

So this Shelly runs 4 banks of lights, switched from i3s. But now one bank of these lights stays on, they cannot be switched off.

However on the app or if I use the switches on the pro4pm If I turn them on it shows “on” on the pro 4pm but shows 0 watt usage. The only way to turn the lights on is by flipping the main power switch,

It is almost like the relay for this Chanel is locked on but not telling the pro what is happening.

    I have rebooted numerous times.

    Any ideas?

  • possibly the relay contacts are stuck. Happens when high inductive loads are switched. Please describe the number and type of lights switched on this channel

  • There are 5 led lights on this Channel 60 watts each . That is 60 watts actual not equivalent

    Total 300 watts.

If they are stuck, how do I unstick them?

And if this is a known issue why is this not flagged to be a problem

  • Issue is the high inrush current of LED lamps - independent of a separate power supply is used or not.

I have 3 x pro 4pm which run 12 banks of led lights as above! Are you telling me these units are not capable of doing this and they are likely to fail?
