negative values to consumption ( seems when there is no consumption)

    i've installed few days ago the 4 pro pm .

    seems all ok apart a negative values in consumption...

    i mean, i have attached 4 deviator... powered on the first, lights, the consumption was 13 w... when i have powered on the second, this gone up to 45 w and light gone down to -3w.

    and i dont' know why.

    so I've attached the others and I have this situation

    if I power on a light, the consumption for -3w goes up to 13w for example, so the lights works for me.

    the strange things is that when i have all the lights off, the values is not Zero but is -3w

    the fase of every deviator is corrected inserted in the shelly O

    I don't understand if it's a limitation of shelly, that can reach only tot W and manage the power between the O .... or it's another problem.

    ps: i haven't a photovoltaic

    To your issue: Electronic circuits (e.g. dimmers or other gadgets) have usually interference-suppression capacitors built-in. Thus, there is a small amount of reactive power in idle state of the apparatus. Capacitive reactive power is displayed as small negative power with very low power factor.

    forgive me, i haven't a photo of my correct situation atm, but is same this

    this is my cabinet, and shelly is in the bottom right same as photo.

    N (blue) and F (orange) coming from the principal, and the 4 deviator are connected with their F to the shelly O

    so, this means it's normal that if powerd off these are not 0 but negative values...

  • Exactly. Have the same at my wallbox with Shelly 3EM and I ignore it...
