Shelly 2.5 Fan with 2 speeds

    Hello,

    How I can configure shelly to control fan with 2 speeds. Ch1 must not be on at same time as ch2 and vice versa.

    Like in roller shutter mode, but i don´t know how to configure it to stay on permanently.

    I have wall switch that controls power on and second switch that controls speeds.

    I tried roller shutter mode with timers to 0 and calibration disabled but it still goes off in approx 18 seconds.

    To your issue: Thanks for the diagram of the fan control! Keeping this in mind, it is very clear that switching both „high“ and „low“ pins to live wire does absolutely no harm to the control! Thus, you may operate your Shelly in relay mode. Switching both pins will cause the fan to operate in „high“ mode.

    With Shelly 2.5 it is (was?) possible to set the runtime of both channels to zero to prevent a shut-off of the relays in roller mode. Precondition: The unit must not be calibrated! Possibly, a factory reset would clear some fragments of a recent calibration?

    With Shelly plus 2PM, there seems to be no way to get this behaviour.

    Did a short test with a Shelly 2.5 at my bench: Configured with open/close working time both to zero, relay is staying „on“ for an infinite time. Firmware is 1.12.0. Shelly was never calibrated.

    No changes after firmware update to 1.12.1…
