Hello,
I have wired the shelly 2.5 to use it with a roller shutter. Wiring went ok, installing the device on the shelly app also. Switched the direction in the app: Up was down and vice versa. Calibration worked super, and even got it intergrated with Alexa. It was really not hard, although I am no hardcore domotica guy.
I thing doesn't work like it 'should' And that are my normal switches I used to press for lowering and opening the shutter. It is a very very common Gira roller shutter switch with 2 knobs/switches. One for up, one for down. If you press it, it will stay in that position with a click sound. And the roller shutter will go up or down depending on the button you presses. If I then click the switch back in normal position (0Volt) the roller shutter stops.
Now after installing shelly 2.5 following happens: Press the switch, the shutter does what it supposes to do (up or down movement). If i now flip the switch back which would normally stop the movement (0Volt) the roller shutter keeps moving. Until I press again the switch (230V) and then it stops. Flip back the switch, it still is stopped.
I think it has to do with button type configuration, but I tried all and no one worked as it worked without shelly.
Guess 230V hits the relay, and again 230V stops the relay. Where 230V starts the movement and 0V should stop the movement.(in the situation without shelly)
Is there a solution to get this right? So my Gira switch will work as in the old situation?
Thanks!
