device is already owned by another user

Hi all,

I've got the problem where my Shelly v3 cant be added because of the "device is already owned by another user" problem.

I know there is a fix for this problem but I just cant get is to work.

What I did so far in this order,

- Connected to the shelly using the web interface

- Connected the shelly to my wifi network

- Got the new internal IP (197.168.0.179)

- connected to the new internal ip adres and did a firmware update

- stil not possible to add the shelly

- Found this page for the ID collisson "Instruction to update firmware in case with ID collision"

- used this URL to update the shelly with the ID problem firmware "http://192.168.0.179/ota?url=http:/…tch1_longid.zip"

- I get the following message (within a second) "

{"status":"updating","has_update":false,"new_version":"20230503-095514/v1.13.0-g9aed950","old_version":"20200114-153732/1085-ota-firmware-for-conflicting-devices@2509ea67"}"

- Did the factory reset

These steps should solve the problem, but I still connect add the shelly to my shelly cloud.

Can anyone please help me out here because I am getting utterly frustrated.......
