History data lost when "replugged"

  • I've noticed that, when the plug is moved to another location (i.e. unplugged-plugged) or there is a grid or power outage no historic data remains for energy consumption or power. I've seen no configuration avaiable regarding this issue in the webserver.

    Firmware: 20230503-101129/v1.13.0-g9aed950

I've noticed another topic regarding this:

Shelly - Power Meter resets total consumption on power loss
Platform information: Hardware: Raspberry Pi 3 OS: OpenHabianPi openHAB version: 2.4.0-1 I have some Shelly Plus S wall plugs which are able to connect via…
    community.openhab.org

But its 3 years old. Any update in this regards?

Is there a way to save that data? Of course without clouding or third party software...

  • Existing Shelly EM, I extend my question, is not possible because Shelly EM exists (so they won't work on that feature to avoid product overlap), is a work in progress?

AFAIK all you need is to save a value in a non volatile register (same as other configuration parameters) and a couple of changes in the UI: "reset data" button, "activate/deactivate feature" slider.
