Shelly H&T Plus shows higher Temperature when connected to USB?

    Seems the device is showing higher temperature when externally connected to power compared to Battery usage - can that be? Did anybody else notice this and found a solution?

    Not sure if i should adapt this with an offset as the offset may differ based on the room temperature then

    Most likely, the temperature sensor is influenced by the power regulator of the Shelly plus HT! Battery supply does not need such a regulator - thus, the temperature sensor is working as it should…

    The developers have separated very thoroughly the sensor from other electronic parts of the logic board. But some interference does obviously occur.

    Thanks for the fast response! Unfortunately it's almost a 2 Degree offset, could that really be? Makes the option for external power useless from my understanding...Proven by a battery powered H&T Plus next to the external powered one

    2 degrees only? Could be compensated by an offset value in device menue…
