24v Ac output?

    Hello!

    I am looking to control the magnetic valves of an irrigation system using a Shelly. The valves needs 24VAC.

    As the Shelly Pro 3 has 3 outputs, this one would fit perfect!

    The technical specification says 240V AC input and for output it says MAX 240V AC. This would mean I can decide that the output should be 24VAC? I cannot see any jumper or similar, does this mean it is controlled over the software?

    each of the three relays of Shelly pro 3EM is capable to switch max. 16A (20A) at 230V AC and 16A at 30V DC. Thus, you may handle max. 16A at 24V AC with each relay channel.

    The Shelly pro 3 has three relays with “dry” contacts. Thus, the Shelly does not emit any voltage. It is not necessary to “tell” the device what voltage it should handle.

    But you’ll have to supply a voltage to operate the device. This may be (a) mains voltage (110 to 230V AC) or (b) low voltage (24 to 48V DC, or more).
