Hi,
I have an issue with the calibration process of my outdoor covers. It seems that the motor is overheating during the calibration process. I almost got to 90% of the calibration process and it suddenly stops with "to few steps to open". When this happens the motor will not accept any commands for a cool-off period. When the motor has cooled off It starts to work again. This makes the calibration process fail every time.
Would it be possible to add a cool-off delay between each step of the calibration process. Like in-between the five steps it pauses for 2 minutes to let the motor cool-off?
The calibration is a quite an unnatural use-process. Either you extend it partly or retract it partly, i.e. 0%->40% and later back from 40% to 0%. The calibration is doing 0%->100%->0%->100%->0%->100%. I'm not surprised the motor isn't designed to do that as part of normal operation. One full movement of the cover takes aprox 3min (it's large), this times five movements is about 15min of constant motor load.
PS. I've increased the max movement time limits so that it is not a factor DS.
Kind regards
