Hi Shelly community!
I would like to install a Shelly dimmer for my table light, which consists of four halogen lamps with 60 watts each (therefore a total of 240 watts). Since the Shelly dimmer only allows for a maximum of 220 watts for halogen lights, I was wondering if I can still install the Shelly dimmer by simply sacrificing those 20 leftover watts or if the lights would break down or overheat the dimmer.
Switching out the lamps is not an option in this case. I would gladly only use 220 watts of the lamp instead of the 240 watts but I'm scared the Shelly dimmer would overheat or simply not work. What's your advice on this?
Best regards.
