Shelly TRV gest stuck in AP mode

  • Hey all, I have a Shelly TRV that I had recently upgraded to V2.2 upon installation.
    Now I cannot get it back to pairing because even resetting the device, by pressing 10 seconds on the button, does not help.

    The TRV device is stuck in an AP limbo. I can connect to it via the APP, but then the device goes offline immediately in the APP and disconnects from the Router.
    I tried pressing the Reset Button for 10 Seconds, but nothing happened. The Shelly TRV Remains in AP mode and I can repeat what I just wrote two sentences prior to this one.

    It became practically useless ...

    Note: After ten minutes, the Device shuts off automatically and can only be reactivated by pressing the Calibration/Reset button. But then the only thing that happens is the Calibration.

    In a Nutshell:
    1. I did the pairing with the AP
    2. Upgraded to V2.2
    3. The device was working for a day or so
    4. After one day, the device went offline, never to be seen again
    5. Pressing the Reset button once, activates the calibration mode and it can be temporarily uses
    -> The AP is always active
    6. The AP mode won't be disabled.
    7. Deleting and readding the device works anytime
    8. After a couple minutes the device goes offline again
    9. The device is not accessible via the IP
    10. Trying to reset the device by pressing the reset button 10 secs -> Nothing happens
    10. I can repeat step 5 to 10 without any results. The AP mode seems to be stuck, the device is bricked.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    I also did the upgrade to 2.2, worked fine until morning, when I noticed all upgraded TRV were turned off, after turning them on, they started calibrating.

    I tried to downgrade to 1.8 as described in the pinned thread, but that requires the TRV to be connected to the internet. I tried factory restarts few times, different wifis, nothing seems to help. Same as reenpf, that upgrade effectively bricked my TRVs.

    I found a solution, that worked for me:

    1. Go on your router
    2. Check your network
    3. Delete the device from your network
    4. Delete the Device from the shelly app
    5. Press the reset button
    6. Reconnect the device

    It is now working for me.
