ShellyplusH&T / not able yet to update the firmware

    Hello,

    I do have a network with Shellyplug, shellyplus1pm and one shellyplusH&T already working.

    I have ordered and received a second H&T but I cannot yet use it.

    I do have an IP number in the right subnet.

    When connecting on the AP

    For the config, my new HT is connected to the usb-c plug (no batteries).

    I am able to connect to its webinterface (......33.1), when going to firmware, if clicking on "check for update" nothing happen.

    If copy/past the firmware link: http://192.168.X.X/ota?url=http://archive.shelly-tools.de/version/v1.14.0/SHHT-1.zip in the right place, it says: Fail to update device.

    I am on it for now two days :(

    When connecting on my Android phone using sheely smart control

    After having reseted the device, the HT is in mode AP, bluetooth, Try to connect to the cloud (white)

    Search in the network for new device, it find it, I click on it, ask me if I want this device to join the home wifi network, I say yes. Getting device info, waiting the device to arrive ... Result: "Device is offline" ... My device is to SET with the signal bar and the Globe.

    I have change android device from my phone to my tablet, I am now in Pending mode :(

    Ideas are welcome :)

    Hi,

    Fellow Shelly-Beginner here…

    You cannot update the firmware if the Shelly is not already connected to your home network. You have to fix that first.

    What do you mean by “I do have an IP number in the right subnet.”?
