Hello, everybody!
I live in a condominium and I currently have an old intercom that we might consider analog. Besides being able to answer by simply picking up the handset I can also open the electric lock on the front door and turn on the staircase light.
The point is that in order to open the lock and turn on the stair light I need to set, as it were, a push time. We are talking about 2 seconds.
So I would like that, pressing for example a button set in Home Assistant this is pressed on the shelly for 2 seconds and then it returns to its normal state (I suppose it goes to close the contact on the relay, which must be normally open. If my assumption is correct the contact must remain closed for 2 seconds and then return to open).
I think this is possible but I don't understand where/how.
I see that in the settings there is the possibility to set a "long push time" but I don't know if this is the right place. I don't even understand which type of button is best for this thing.
Thank you!
