Use Shelly as relay (with PIR)

    just a short question regarding the shelly:

    I've got a motion detector (should be compatible with Shelly) and a Shelly itself. The motion detector has an allowance of 300W (LED)/1300W (regular). In my current setup the motion sensor would manage ~3 kW (different lamps).
    Using the motion sensor directly would not be allowed/work. But using it in combination with the Shelly should be allowed, since the motion sensor would only handle 0(?) watts? (So, simply put, the shelly would act as a kind of relay)

    Are these trains of thought correct?
