Shelly plug s not visible in app

    I already have several Shelly dimmer 2 placed in my home and it works great. So the working of the app is not a problem. Now, I bought a plug s, I installed it and after a few minutes the app confirms that the plug s is installed. But, after 30seconds, 1 minute, 2 minutes, never, I will see the plug s as a discovered device.

    Also, when I log in at mij router to look if he has hot an IP adres, just like the Dimmer 2 modules, there is also nothing.

    Anybody a suggestion? I have resetted the plug s already several times, but it is always the same...

    Hi and welcome to the forum. :)

    If the plug hasn't an ip-adress in your router, the app can not find it as "discovered" device.

    Mostly, the problem is a mistake in the WLAN-data.

    You wouldn't be the first to enter the WiFi password repeatedly with the same spinner, for example. ;)

  • Solved, there was an IP conflict between devices, the same IP. Don't know why....
