192.168.33.1 not reachable

  • So I've bought a whole lot of 1 & 2.5's.

Most of them work properly, but I cannot get some of them initiated properly.

Some of them failed to be initiated via the iOS Shelly app. So I stopped using the app. Instead I've added all other Shelly's by connecting to the builtin AP using a laptop. Shelly hands out a DHCP ip 192.168.33.2/24 and is configurable on http://192.168.33.1. Following this method proved to be working perfectly.

BUT... The Shelly's which failed to be initiated via the Shelly app keep giving me headaches.

I've resetted them using the 5-ON/OFF-switch method (I can hear the relays ticking fast to confirm the reset). They broadcast as AP again, but:

    • Some hand out the DHCP 192.168.33.2 address, but I cannot connect to the http://192.168.33.1 page
    • Some don't even hand out an IP when connecting to it. I end up with a self assigned IP address, and cannot connect to http://192.168.33.1.

I've tried resetting them, multiple times. But this doesn't seem to fix anything.

    Any ideas?

    Kind regards

    Martijn

  • Heya,

This thread is quite old, but I had the same problem and for whatever reason using my phone I could not access 192.168.33.1 while to connect to a H&T sensor own Wifi. I reset it multiple times and still nothing.

But, as soon as I used my computer to connect to 192.168.33.1 suddenly I could get in and configure it for my home's wifi.

    Hope it helps someone.
