Can't change RGBW2 device type to White (4x White LED stripes)

  • Hi,

I'm running firmware 20201124-092159/v1.9.0@57ac4ad8 and IOS app 1.0.2.

If I go to Settings and try to change "Device Type" from Color to White, app says:

"Switching the mode will change your current device firmware. Do you want to continue?"

Now when pressing UPDATE, nothing happens, except I cannot access any settings anymore on the app. I can't "go back" or open any of the settings sub-menus. Only thing to do is to kill the app. After going back to settings I'm always on Color-mode.

This is my log from IP/status after waiting for several minutes:

  • Yes, I have configured WIFI MODE -CLIENT under Internet/Security. Shelly is also connected to Cloud.
