I have a wall switch which operates a standard ceiling lamp. The circuit is live/neutral. We don't have a ceiling lamp and the ceiling fitting is just empty/covered.
I would like to use the wall switch though despite there being no consumer hooked up and it being an "open circuit" since there is no ceiling lamp screwed in. The wall switch should trigger the Shelly, which then triggers a REST call (in order to switch other lights that aren't connected electrically to that switch.)
I have a spare Shelly 1L in order to do this. I realise this is a pretty basic question but I don't want to wire stuff up and either cause a short (I have no Shelly Bypass) or fiddle endlessly on an impossible problem, so I thought I'd ask the pros.
