Hello everybody hope you're safe.
I had to change my router, therefore my SSID its a different one, how can I change that in my shelly devices?
Ive tried to do a wifi batch, but I had no results.
Can you help me with this issue?
regards JV

welcome to the forum jmpvaz
There are some ways to change the access data without having to reset the Shelly to factory settings.
1. Restore the original state - when replacing the old router, reactivate it again and run the "batch wifi update" tool in the app
2. If the router is replaced, transfer the "old" WLAN data (SSID / password) to the new router
3. Fake a hotspot with the old SSID / PW in the mobile phone
4. Soft reset and, thanks to the opened AP mode, enter the new access data in the Shelly
Soft Reset Method:
Switch the automatic circuit breaker attached to the Shelly relay off and on again 5 times (the off phase must not be longer than 5 seconds).
Then all Shelly hanging on the automatic circuit breaker go into AP mode for 3 minutes
Select the appropriate Shelly in your Wlan list and establish a connection.
By entering the IP 192.168.33.1 in your browser, you can now access the Shelly's web interface, and change and save your WiFi access data there, for example. All changes made here are saved. And the Shelly can be operated with the new settings.
If the Shelly sets up the AP mode during the 3 minutes and no connection to the Shelly is established, it ends the mode and returns with the old saved data and settings, and can be operated as before.
4 possible solutions:
1) is the old router still available? then connect it temporary to power, let the Shellys connect and change via batch..
2) change SSID & password from the new router to match with the old one.
3) use a smartphone, create a hotspot with the old SSID & password, let Shellys connect and change Wifi via Shelly WebUI..
4) reset your Shellys and re-configure all.
1+3 would be easy to do..
Thank you all, I will try to do that.
Hello, I've done it.
