Hello,
I want to use the shelly 2.5 to control window blinds. I have a concern and I am worried about causing a short circuit if the window blinds are controlled via wifi at the same time as someone is controlling it manually with a wall switch. Does it cause a short circuit or does the shelly 2.5 have a mechanism that avoids a short circuit when a situation like this occurs.
The electrician that is installing this, advised me that for manual manipulation of the blinds to use the type of button that you have to keep pressed and you release it to stop when you want to open or close the blinds. But I´m not interested in having this type of button because it´s annoying having to keep the button pressed instead I am interested in having a button with two switches that you just press once, without having to keep it pressed, and when at the desired position of the shade you press the down button to stop. The electrician tells me that the button that I want can cause a short circuit because there might be a situation where the blinds are manipulated that the same time by the button and via wifi shelly 2.5.
My question is, does the shelly 2.5 cause a short circuit or does it have a mechanism that avoids a short circuit when a situation like this occurs.
Thank you.
