Shelly 1L with Bypass two switch, 4 Bulb - sometime flickering

  • Hello there, I use this wiring method:

    [Blockierte Grafik: https://smarthome-forum.eu/index.php?attachment/12707-ar768-wechselschaltung-ohne-n-bypass-png/]

The difference that i use 4 bulb, with 4 different place. (in order: 1-2-3-4)

First, i try without bypass, in this state, in the 3. 4. bulb is flickering at "off" state, the 1. 2. is not. I connect the Bypass to 3. bulb. Now is better, but about 10 "switch off" is flickering... In this case it need to swich on and swich off again...

My question is that is a bypass problem, or it help if i move the bypass to a different bulb?

  • Hello,

I have the exact same problem but I don't use bypass (I have the neutral connected).

I have those flickering behaviour (switching on and off the bulb approx 4 times a second) which is really anoying. I saw others users encountered this kind of issue with the Shelly Dimmer.

Do you still have the problem or did you fix it somehow ?

  • What type of led bulb did you used that are not flickering? I have same flickering problem with one switch 2 x bulb with bypass installed. I use 2 x Airam Pro Led 4,5W GU10 cool white

  • I am facing similar problem, using shelly 1L with a line of two 23w Bulbs. I tried without bypass at first and in off condition the bulbs are not completely off and also little flickering. I added one bypass one bulb was off completely and the other still behaving the same(not completely off and also little flickering) after searching I found that some people solved the problem using 2 bypass so I installed 2 bypass one on each bulb. still I have the same one bulb was off completely and the other still behaving the same(not completely off and also little flickering). did you find any solution for that issue. i can see many threads for the same issue however no solution for long time. why shelly developers didn't take this seriously! what is the use of Shelly 1L if it keeps behaving like that! :( :( X( X(
