I use 2 Shelly’s to switch the pump for my floorheating: a Shelly 1 that is switched by the thermostat and a Shelly 1PM switching the pump. The Shelly 1 has an OUTPUT SWITCHED ON URL: [Shelly 1PM IP]/relay/0?turn=on (similar for off). This works beautifully!
However, in the summer the thermostat never turns on the heater, so the pump will not run for a long time and it might get stuck. I can solve that with a SCHEDULE TIMER (on either Shelly) running the pump a few minutes every day.
The problem arises when the schedule switches the Shelly on, then the thermostat switched the Shelly on. Now I need the Shelly on until the thermostat turns it off. But I think the schedule will turn the Shelly off after the set time regardless of thermostat switching.
How can I have the thermostat (acting like a button) override the schedule if they happen to overlap?
