I decided to remove the Shelly Plus devices and replace by older HTTP-GET'able Shellys.
I just wanted to buy some more "good" old Shelly 1 with proper HTTP-GET authentication but they seem to be sold out on Amazon! I really can't understand why Shelly's product managers are destroying that use case!
paul6219 Gen1 is using Basic Auth Gen2 is using digest Auth. It‘s not possible to use username and password in Url on Gen2 like in Gen1. But you are very welcome to send an support Ticket to get this problem solved earlier

that's feasible with a Linux client.
But I wonder what I need to enter in my old Shelly 1 in the IO section to turn on/off my Shelly plus1... As far as I understand my old shellys just allow HTTP-GET in IO
how does the password fit in that syntax?
so far I turn on my "old" Shelly-devices with a HTTP-GET like
http://admin:password@10.10.22.193/relay/0?turn=on
Unfortunately that does not work any more for a new Shelly Plus1 I added. What's the HTTP-GET Syntax to turn on / off a Shelly Plus1?
