    Sometimes I have the same issue, I think that it's related to the WiFi connection, at least in my case. I have a main access point and a WiFi extender. When the Shelly EM connects to the main access point the WiFi signal is weak and I see that for many hours there is no data in the cloud. If I reboot the Shelly it connects to the extender which is closer and so the WiFi signal is stronger. In this case it works fine and the data in the cloud is up-to-date.

    You may try to verify the WiFi signal strength in "Settings -> Device Information". If it's weak this could be the reason.

    I have the same problem. Someone in another thread suggested to reboot the Shelly after defining the action but this has not worked for me.

    I have opened a support ticket with Shelly and they replied that they suspect a firmware issue but I haven't received further updates.

    I have just installed a Shelly 2.5 as a switch for two lights in my kitchen.

    It works fine using the physical switches but there is sometimes a long delay (5 seconds or more) when using the Shelly app or Alexa between the command and the actual state change of the lights.

    It seems to me that the issue may be related to the Shelly cloud since the response is immediate when I use the Shelly local web interface (direct connection to the Shelly using a web browser).

    My Internet connection works fine and with other IOT devices such as Sonoffs I have never had such long response times.

    Any suggestions ?
