Thanks for feedback. No I had no idea there were only a few the dimmer was compatible with, I must have missed that from the Shelly shop product page....
It works fine with up to 120w of incandescent. Thanks for advice.

Good point and it was the first thing that struck me. They say they are dimmable heres the link.
I had a number of old style 60w bulbs used 2 in a 6 bulb rose and worked ok, but because 6 wont work (too much power) I purchased 6 4w Leds - now I just get constant flickering. They will not calibrate on either option and on attempt to dim they go offline. This is a no neutral setup without a bypass (as bypass not needed apparently for anything above 15w). Please help getting v.Frustrated, third set of lights....
Thanks very much- that solved it. I didnt realise such a limit. Appreciated.
OK thanks I'll remove three and see what happens.
I am using the latest firmware 1.11.7. I have taken switch out of the equation which has made no difference. I have the cable which was originally in the common of the switch now in O and what was in L1 of the switch in L. I believe that wiring is correct. It all works fine but after about one minute I get overheating warning and it switches off. I have tried both trailing edge and leading edge which makes no difference. I am powering 6x60w filament bulbs. Any advice appreciated.
I have an EM with two 120amp transformers one reading the main cable the other clamp reading a secondary fuse box. The main one works as expected the secondary one reads for example 4 wh when I turn on a heater which should read 5kw. The clamp is a little large for the cable could it be this simple?
Thanks
I have A clamp from an unrelated product. Is it possible to use this or is it necessary to use the Shelly brand specific clamps?
I didn't, wish I had, thought I knew better
Does warranty plus inc carriage, if not little point particularly on cheaper modules.
Sorry for delay, Yes I swapped from 12v to 240v but in my rush forgot to switch the jumper. My fault, ghost it is. WEnt with a big bang and not surprisingly blew the circuit.
I wired up 240v and "forgot" to set jumper and bang! Any coming back?
Probably not actually with 20, I was using a hypothetical number. My point was that you need to find the Neutral in most situations. I think Fibaro require a bypass for loads <50w. Therefore it's still 12 x 4w leds. I would have thought Shelly would be similar. Best way to find out is try it.
Wow, I've recently bought a lot of Shelley kit as I am moving away from Sonoff as I assumed eu product might be safer but my general experiences so far and reading these forums is very worrying!
I've just bought 1L and yes I bought it on basis you dont need a neutral at the switch. Not installed a bypass before as they need to go up in the ceiling where the neutral comes in, so pretty easy if you have one ceiling rose but if you have 20 Led's a real pain, where do you start!
I have installed this only two weeks ago, all seemed to be fine then it went offline this morning. I removed it and started trying everything but it wont respond not even to the reset button, i've also replaced batteries. The only life I see in it is by removing and replacing the batteries. Please help.
