  • Lights flickering, simultaneously in 3 light circuits

    Hi there,

    I’m using dozenns of Shelly dimmers in my home. Now I’ve installed 3 x Shelly 2 dimmers in my brothers house. All dimmers are in the same electric circuit and control obviously three independent lighting areas with different dimmbare GU10 lights - same lights as I use too. So far so good.

    However, every once in a while, sometimes within short time ranges, sometimes just once in 30 minutes - the lights flicker quite heavily. All three independent light circuits flicker simultaneously, which excludes the root cause being a defective dimmer. The flickering is regardless of the brightness. This makes me wonder what is different with this electrical circuit compared to the other ones in the house.

    Would anybody have an idea what to do?

  • Shelly Dimmer 2 with Motion Sensor

    Hi guys,

    hope everybody is well. This is my first topic here: I am currently equipping our new old building with Shellys. Most of the equipments are Shelly Dimmer 2. So far they work pretty reliable, however today I have connected the Dimmer 2 to a Motion Sensor (Steinel 180-2), and although the motion sensor picks up (I checked voltage) it is not activating the Dimmer.

    I tried all button settings; neither work. On some web pages I was reading something about an additional relais? Why would that be needed?
