Thank you soo much! I will definatly give it a try.

I assume that the power supply here is the same as I use for the Shelly Uni?

If that is the case I have actaully connected that to the two upper cables on the Shelly Uni (Power supply + to Vcc and Power supply - to N) which is not the case in your figure but that can of cource be changed if it will work :-). Hence, the 12 V - can also be connected to the GND Sensor instead of N?

    Hi!

I use a 12 V power supply for the Uni. I can connect to it and the Uni works - its just that it does not read the states of the channels or the inputs. I do not have any resistors at home but I can of course buy some if I believe it will work to find a solution :)

The alarm manual says the following "The two general purpose outputs are designed for controlling

apparatuses having dry-contact control inputs". There seem to be a current on the outputs accordng to image above but it may also describe max current. Any suggestion on how to solve this?

The current is stated in the manual :

Outputs: Up to 15VDC (OFF state, open loop, ~20uA leakage current)

Up to 1A (ON state, close loop, ~0.25V terminals dropout)

    Dear All!

I am trying to setup a synchronization between an external alarm module and Shelly Uni. I know the alarm module is correctly configured to open/close two outputs depending on the states of the alarm (output 1 close if alarm goes off, output 2 close if alarm is activated). This has been tested with Z-wave (Fibaro multi sensor) devices previously and now I try to get it to work with Shelly Uni instead but I am stuck.

The alarm device is a 3.3 v battery driven device (Visonic wl-iog) with one ground and two output connections (O1 and O2 programmed as described above). I have connected O1 to Shelly Uni IN_1 and O2 to Shelly Uni IN_2. I assume that a ground is needed as well (previously used the GND when synched to he Fibaro) between the Shelly Uni and the alarm modul but I cannot figure it out. The output state is not detected in the Shelly app. I have tried using the GND_SENSOR (#6) as ground. If I do not connect any ground (GND) at all it does not register the connection at all. If I connect the DATA cable (blue #5) to the Alarm GND they are both indicated as on (which is wrong).

Anything I am missing or suggestions on how to configure this? Any help would be apprechiated...

This did not solve my issue with overheating unfortunately. Lucky enough I believe I have neutral where it is installed so I guess I will have to rewire it. Just wondering if this will happen as well on the other ones where I do not have a neutral...
