    Using the phone app or the cloud on my computer, When I Set "quick actions setup" to trigger lights to come on when there is "motion anytime" , then choose "How long the lights be on after last detected movement"

    If I choose "10 min" it returns error " Could not send command to device" , every time, Any other choice it works great. 1 min, 3 min, 5 min.

    Have tried flashing firmware up and down. logging in and out, phone/cloud. ect ect

    I still love these motion sensors but maybe they could take a look at this issue on the next firmware update.

    I'm a shelly- beginner and just use the supplied software, Just started looking into home control program options.

    Tried to change some settings, said "couldn't command device"

    Thanks for your help, but not going to waste any more time, upgrading, downgrading, uninstalling, installing, talking to support on a 40 dollar motion sensor that seems to be unreliable at best.

    I used the "quick setup" inside I/O URL actions. Just like I did when setting up the one in the bathroom and it works great, I have tried having it trigger some of the other shellys in the house, but no joy.

    It sees the motion, but never triggers anything, Have tried reinstalling it many times. Thanks for the help!

    I compared it to the one in the bathroom in shelly cloud and under : "motion detected" the Enabled is checked and it has [object Object]

    in the line below, Same for no motion detected.

    The new one does not have any of that, When I try to add it I get

    "could not send command to device"

    I had the same issue and have the same setup as you do,

    Google Wifi mesh network and using Google Pixel 3A.

    I got it working by joining the WIFI on my phone to the one shelly generates then updating firmware and setting up my home WIFI from the built in app, then going back and do the setup as per instructions.

    May have just been luck.. Good luck

    Just using Phone app, Added to room, detects motion but wont activate any of the shelly 1s or 2.5s in the house, I have a 2nd one installed in bathroom, works great. I have added it many times, rebooted router,

    updated firmware, it's : is 20210304-134216/v1.1.1@6e2583cf.

    Had a little trouble adding it to app, kept saying "wrong secret code try again"

    Then the "Discovered devices" would never drop down in the app even after it said it was successful adding it to WIFI. Web page shows it seeing motion all looks good, just won't trigger anything.

    any suggestions would be welcome! Thinking about sending it back. Other motion sensor installed just fine works great.
